Recipes

What is good coffee without some good recipes to go with it? Below you'll find a few recipes that we use when we are testing our coffee as well as just enjoying a cup.  We aren't like most traditional roasters, we don't just cup our coffee, we brew it multitudes of different ways, just like you would at home.

Chemex

The Chemex is synonymous with pour over coffee.  The brewer itself is a work of art and looks great on an countertop.  Not only does it say "I have class" it also say "I like good coffee and take the time to craft the greatest cup I can".  While this is a very involved method of brewing, it's well worth it in the end as it makes an incredibly clean and smooth cup of coffee.  We prefer lighters, fruity coffees prepared this way.

French Press

Looking for a rich cup of coffee that requires much less attention than a pour over?  The french press will give a much richer cup and we like it for our heavier bodies coffee's, but really it works for them all.  You will get more fine sediments with this method so it can give more perceived body, to even the lightest of roasts.  We just find out pallet prefers this method more if used with an Ethiopian or good Brazil.
